ZERO MOTHERS DIE
A Global Initiative to Save the Lives of Pregnant Women & their Newborns
Using Mobile Technologies
800 women die every day during pregnancy and childbirth due to preventable or treatable complications.
Zero Mothers Die is a global partnership initiative to save the lives of pregnant women and their newborns by disseminating mobile technologies to increase access to pregnancy information and emergency care.
Our aim is to help fulfill the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
Zero Mothers Die App
The Zero Mothers Die App is a unique mobile health application providing essential maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) information to pregnant women, new mothers and health workers providing MNCH care to their community in 6 different languages.
SUPPORT OUR WORK
Zero Mothers Die aims to provide vulnerable pregnant women and new mothers with mobile technologies and tools so they can access healthy pregnancy information messages and call their local health worker during emergencies.
We're working on country projects in Ghana, Gabon, Mali, Nigeria and Zambia and have developed the Zero Mothers Die App - a unique mobile health app providing essential maternal, newborn and child health information to pregnant women, new mothers and health workers providing care to their community.
